Here's a bit about me

why product marketing?

Cats.

I like herding them.

I’m that person who enjoys researching, discovering, and pulling together people and tactics to complete a project. (Really.)

Discovering product marketing was a big aha moment. It connected my own pieces of marketing knowledge. Throughout my digital marketing career, I found I excelled at analytics/research and project managing campaigns with cross-functional teams.  I fell in love with A/B messaging testing to understand customers. These skills are the foundation of product marketing.

To me, product marketing is one part psychology, one part detective work, and one part engineer. As a psychologist, I’m stepping into your customer’s shoes to understand how they think, feel, and behave. As a detective, I’m researching market trends and competition that will impact  purchasing decisions. Finally, I engineer an executable go-to-market plan.

I love this building process, connecting puzzle pieces of customer behavior, marketing trends, competitive intelligence, and messaging to bring a product to market.

If you want someone who is committed to learning about your customers and skilled at hearding cats to make it happen, let's talk.

I love getting my hands on a good book for inspiration on messaging. Whether it is the product marketing classics Influence or Positioning, or diving into neuroscience of behavior (my marketing geek side).
